Arizona banks flooded with cash after adding $26B in deposits in past year


Banks in Arizona have been raking in money during the Covid-19 pandemic thanks to federal relief spending. But the growth in deposits in the past 12 months has not been spread evenly: The state's four largest banks hold about three quarters of all deposits — and one of them saw the biggest gain in market share.
