A luxury home in Paradise Valley sitting on more than three acres sold for $10.8 million within three months of being listed.
The 8,300-square-foot home at 6742 N. 48th St. was built in 2008 on a 3-acre parcel, offering views of Camelback Mountain. With five bedrooms and 6.5 baths, the home features a bonus room, theater room, large living room, wood-panel office, large bedroom wing and a separate guest house. Fireplaces and patios surround the home, both indoors and outdoors.
Kevin Gonzales, vice president of operations for Russ Lyon Sotheby's International Realty, said the quick sale of this home is a testament to the vitality of the Valley's luxury market.
"Since the start of summer 2021, there have been 70 homes that have sold for over $5 million," Gonzales said. "Of those, 11 sold in excess of $10 million, and this is during our supposedly 'slow' season.
These success stories show that the uber luxury market in Phoenix continues to thrive, and there are no market conditions that indicate that anything will change in 2022."
Russ Lyon Sotheby's represented the buyer and seller in the transaction.
